Odélie Chan se lance dans la confection de bijoux en février 2008.
Fan de bijoux fantaisie et babioles en tout genre,elle est frustrée de ne pas trouver la pièce atypique qui la fera vibrer,elle décide alors de créer des modèles répondant à ses attentes.
Chacune de ses collections témoigne d'une démarche innovante,elle aime jouer l'asymétrie, l'exagération des proportions et la combinaison de matériaux divers.La résine restant sa matière première.
Ses créations:
Un univers coloré aux accents parfois kitsch et rétro, ses collections sont évolutives, elle puise dans la culture urbaine toutes les choses susceptibles de l'inspirer à une période x.
Toutes ses pièces sont totalement réalisées à la main et peuvent prendre parfois plus de 8h,un travail minutieux et de longue haleine.
Ses influences:
La musique,la planète,les gens,les voyages,les bonbons.....nul doute que ses errances en Océanie et en Afrique ont influencé certaines de ses créations.

Odélie Chan started to design and making jewelry in February 2008. A true fan of jewelry and trinkets of all kinds, frustrated not to find the perfect piece that would rock the atypical, she decided to create models that meet her expectations. Each one of these collections reflects an innovative approach to jewelry. Odélie enjoys playing with asymmetry, the exaggerated proportions and the combination of diverse resin materials. Resin is the prime chosen material.
Odélie’s creations are always evolving, … colorful accents, sometimes kitsch and retro. All of the pieces are totally handmade and can take up to 8 hours to complete them, a painstaking and time consuming process.
She draws inspiration from urban culture and is influenced by music, the planet, people, travels, candy… no doubt that her wanderings in Oceania and Africa have influenced some of her creations. Odélie Chan belongs to an artistic family named “Weirdata”.
